ONDC on ezmarketplaces
ONDC as a seller-side network participant: catalogue, orders and fulfilment on the open network, running end to end on staging; going live is a network subscription step.
Standing as of 7 October 2026: Runs end to end on the ONDC staging network. Going live is a network subscription step.
What the connector does
- Runs the full order lifecycle on the ONDC staging network as a seller app.
- Publishes the catalogue to the network and receives orders from any buyer app.
What it does not
- Transact on the live network yet; that is a subscription step with the network, not a build step.
How it connects
With a key or token you generate on Open network · ondc.org and paste on connect. It is encrypted under a key that belongs to your workspace and can be revoked on the marketplace at any time. ONDC's own documentation
Worth knowing about ONDC
- ONDC is built as a network adapter rather than a marketplace connector: there is no single counterparty, and every buyer app is a channel.
Questions
- What does ONDC give a marketplace seller?
- A catalogue reachable from every buyer app on the network without a listing fee per marketplace. The economics are the network's; the operations are the same orders, stock and returns as everywhere else.
