One master listing, published per marketplace
Each marketplace wants the same product described its own way: its own category tree, required attributes, image rules and title length. Maintaining a catalogue per marketplace is how listings drift and stock goes wrong. The alternative is one master listing with per-channel offers, validated against each channel's rules before anything is sent.
Getting the catalogue in
- Connect a channel and the backfill imports its listings in every state the marketplace exposes, including inactive and blocked ones, so the count you see is the count the marketplace has.
- Ingest accepts a CSV or a product page URL and turns it into a draft. URL imports are fetched server-side and refused for private addresses.
- Every import lands in Draft review first. Nothing is published without a person approving it.
Validating per channel
Each marketplace has its own required attributes, and the validator checks a draft against the rules for the channel it is being published to. The error names the attribute and the rule. The draft is not sent until it passes, so a refusal happens here, with a name, rather than at the marketplace.
Publishing without losing a listing
- A publish is written to an outbox with an idempotency key before anything is sent, so a marketplace outage delays it rather than losing it, and a retry cannot apply twice.
- Publishes that exhaust their retries land in the dead-letter queue on Channel health, where they can be replayed.
- The channel's answer is shown on the panel, including a refusal; a channel price goes out with the listing.
AI, within limits
AI Studio drafts the title, bullets and description per channel from the master listing and the channel's rules. Buyer details are redacted before any model call, your catalogue is never training data, and a draft is a draft until a person promotes it.
Questions
- Which marketplaces can I publish to today?
- Flipkart through Listing Management v3, Shopify, and the sandbox channels (eBay, Walmart, Etsy). Amazon publishes once Amazon lists our application. The others wait on the marketplace onboarding us; the channel pages state each.
- Does an edit on one channel change the others?
- An edit on the master listing is offered to every channel offer; a per-channel override (price, title) stays with that channel.
- Can I import from a marketplace I am leaving?
- Yes. Connect it read-only, backfill the catalogue, and disconnect; the imported records stay.
